O-View is a device designed for the programming and control of Nice
devices
, used for the automation of gates, garage doors, road
barriers with mobile arms and similar applications.
Advanced management: O-View is connected directly to the
compatible control unit via a BUS T4 cable (supplied). By connecting O-View
permanently to a control unit or group of control units via BUS T4, a network
can be created for local or remote centralised management.

Simple programming mode with intuitive menus valid for each
product, with no need to consult the specific instructions.
O-View powers up and automatically recognises all devices on the network as
soon as it is connected, displaying only the specific parameters of the device
on which to intervene.
In the case of several devices on the network the BUS T4 address is
identifiable by means of a text label personalised as required, enabling rapid
recognition of the associated device.
Programmable: thanks to the built-in clock, it is also
possible (with integrated backup battery) to program delivery of commands at a
set time, for example to automate opening and closing of complex industrial and
commercial systems or for the creation of “scenarios”.
A practical wall-mounted support supplied.
Safe: two password- protected levels (for the user and the
installer).
Practical: O-View is your portable office, and can be
connected just when programming or for maintenance, or can be installed
permanently on site to exploit all the benefits of local or remote centralised
management
Main operating characteristics of Oview
The Oview device dialogues with other devices via the BusT4 cable; therefore it
can only communicate with products fitted with the BusT4 connector, i.e. those
in the Nice Opera system.
Oview is only activated when connected to a device, as it is powered directly
by the latter. Oview can be used both as a system for programming devices and
as a system for automation control.
Use of Oview is especially recommended in automation systems with an advanced
technological content, as it enables:
- programming of a device or several devices connected on
a network;
- control of one or more automations;
- diagnostics of a device or several devices connected on
a network.
- storage of settings and programming of devices (storage
is useful for example to enable rapid re-configuration of devices in the
event of a replacement of a system component).
Oview is suitable for use both by the installer and user. Just one Oview
device enables the installer to program and modify data, and perform
maintenance on all devices present in a system. On the other hand, the user can
use Oview to control one or more automations on a daily basis. If required, the
installer can also provide the user with the programming settings of a number
of parameters. This can be useful if the user needs to change the values of
these parameters while using the automation. If the case of a network of
several devices, use of Oview enables the installer to configure all devices in
a system one at a time, thus reducing the complexity, times and movements
normally required for such operations.
