Roger OSR80M-BLE Proximity Reader

OSR80M-BLE is a miniature identification terminal designed to work with an access controller supporting the OSDP v2.2 protocol. The terminal enables user recognition via 13.56 MHz Mifare® proximity cards Ultralight/Classic/DESFire (EV1, EV2, EV3)/PLUS and also via a mobile device (phone) equipped with NFC or Bluetooth technology.
In case of identification using Bluetooth technology, range reading can reach up to several meters. The remaining methods require a closer look ID card to the reader at a distance of several centimeters. Identification mobile requires the Roger Mobile Key application to be installed on your phone.

OSR80M-BLE requires a DC power supply in the range of 11-15V. It's tension can be supplied from the MCX2D/MCX4D expander of the MC16-PAC-KIT set, controller access MC16 (TML power output) or from a separate power supply.

Communication between the terminal and the access controller is carried out using OSDP protocol on the RS485 bus. The device can be connected directly to access controllers supporting this bus. However, in the case of the controller MC16, it is additionally necessary to use the MCI-3 intermediary interface.
The RS485 transmission standard used in the RACS 5 system guarantees correct transmission communication at a distance of up to 1200 meters (calculated by cable) and characterized with high resistance to interference.

Function keys
The terminal is equipped with two touch function keys. You can use the keys assign various functions within the high-level configuration (VISO), e.g. bell, set the T&A Mode, record the AROUND event, turn on the automation node, etc. As part of the low-level configuration (RogerVDM) you can set whether keys are supported.

FEATURES:
  • Access terminal supporting OSDP v2.2
  • 13.56 MHz Mifare® Ultralight/Classic/DESFire card reading (EV1, EV2, EV3)/PLUS
  • Mobile identification via a phone with NFC or Bluetooth
  • Function keys: Bell and Light
  • 3 signaling LEDs
  • Buzzer
  • RS485
  • Tamper
  • Outdoor work
The device can be installed outside buildings without the need using additional security measures. Due to its relatively small dimensions the reader can be mounted on the doors of various types of cabinets and compartments.
The terminal is consistent with the QUADRUS stylistic line.
