Roger PRT84ME Dual internal proximity card reader for EM125 kHz and 13.56 MHz MIFARE cards with touch keyboard

The PRT84ME reader is designed to work with controllers access devices supporting the RACS CLK/DTA (Roger) or Wiegand 24...66 bit protocol.
The reader is equipped with a touch numeric keyboard, two input lines and two function keys marked with the Bell and Light symbols. Function keys may be used for purposes other than those indicated by their associated symbols. PRT84ME can be connected to a controller with the RACS CLK&DTA interface (RACS 4 system) or with the Wiegand interface.
The device cannot work independently. The operation is limited to reading the card number or PIN code and sending these data to the access controller.

Detailed programming of the device can be made from a computer (RogerVDM program). The working mode is possible can also be changed manually using the reader's keyboard or card proximity. Configuring reader settings from the RogerVDM program requires the use of the RUD-1 interface.

READER CONFIGURATION
The reader can work in various operating modes that determine how cooperation with the controller. Selecting the operating mode and its associated format data transmission to the controller can take place from the RogerVDM program (Windows) or manually during the programming procedure operating mode.
