Wireless optical smoke detector MTS-166/9V
The sensor is designed to detect smoke in indoor facilities.
It is designed
for individual household installations and can not be used in public
buildings or industrial. Can act independently
(standalone) and
cooperate with the receiver alarm system. Smoke detection is signaled by a loud
85dB audible signal and an alarm signal from the detector cooperating
with the control panel (Elmes CB32) or floating point code Elmes receiver to
which the detector is programmed.
The detector is
powered by a 9V battery which lasts an average of one
year of work. The use of alkaline or lithium batteries can extend the
operating time of up to 3 years.
Working with Elmes CB32 control panel or selected receivers CH8HR, CH20HR
monitored is the presence detector and the battery voltage supply.

STRUCTURE AND INSTALLATION
After connecting the detector batteries immediately operates in standalone
mode. You can proceed to program the detector to reception facilities.
The detector does not contain sources of ionizing radiation and reacts only to
smoke penetrates to the optical detection chamber. It is therefore important to
properly choose the place of installation, eg. In place of the expected
circulation of smoke, avoid places "dead" to which the smoke comes
late. The device can be installed on vertical walls or slanted.
In the central part of the detector is a button TEST / SILENCE which has the
following features:
- disables accidental alarm - (mode of operation reduced sensitivity
threshold) If the period of silence will increase the concentration of the
smoke detector alarm automatically resumes.
- working with the equipment used to test the range of the radio,
- when you replace the battery allows you to check the correct
configuration
