The SLIM-S-PIR is an indoor motion detector from the SLIM LINE series, designed for surface-mounted ceilings. It detects motion using infrared light. It is designed for ceiling surface mounting.
It is ideal for locations where wall-mounted detectors are impossible or undesirable. Its 360° detection range allows it to be used to monitor stores, warehouses, and other locations where a ceiling-mounted, downward-facing detector's detection range will cover the room more effectively than a wall-mounted detector.

The detector will trigger an alarm when the infrared (PIR) sensor detects motion. Opening the housing/removing the detector from the mounting surface activates the tamper output.
If the motion detection system is damaged or the voltage drops below 9 V (±5%) for longer than 2 seconds, the detector will report a fault. The fault is signaled by activating the alarm output and illuminating the LED indicator. The fault indication continues for the duration of the fault.

The LED indicator indicates:

• Start-up – flashes red for approximately 30 seconds
• Alarm – lights for 2 seconds (factory color: blue)
• Fault – lights for the duration of the fault (same color as the alarm)

You can change the color used to indicate an alarm/fault.
