SLIM-S-DUAL is an indoor motion detector from the SLIM LINE series, designed for recessed ceiling mounting.. It is ideal for locations where wall-mounting is impossible or undesirable. Thanks to its 360° detection area, it can be used to monitor stores, warehouses, and other locations where the detection area of a ceiling-mounted, downward-facing detector will cover the room more effectively than a wall-mounted detector.

The device detects motion using infrared and microwaves. The sensor will trigger an alarm when both sensors detect motion within less than 3 seconds of each other, as well as when tampering occurs when the housing is opened or removed from the mounting surface.

The light source is white LEDs that indicate:

• Start-up – flashes alternately in different colors for approximately 30 seconds
• Motion detected by the microwave sensor – lights green for 3 seconds
• Motion detected by the PIR sensor – lights purple for 3 seconds
• Alarm – lights blue for 2 seconds
• Fault – lights blue for the duration of the fault
