Satel SLIM-DUAL-PRO BUS Dual Bus Motion Detector with Anti-Masking and Bracket Included

The SLIM-DUAL-PRO BUS detector detects motion in the protected area using infrared and microwaves. The detector can be connected to the RS communication bus of a SATEL alarm control panel that supports bus devices.

The detector will report an alarm when the infrared (PIR) sensor and microwave sensor detect motion within a time interval of less than 3 seconds, as well as tampering when the enclosure is opened or removed from the mounting surface.

The light source is 4 white LEDs, which indicate:

• Start-up – flashes alternately in different colors for approximately 30 seconds
• Motion detected by the microwave sensor – glows green for 3 seconds
• Motion detected by the PIR sensor – glows purple for 3 seconds
• Alarm – glows blue for 2 seconds
• Fault – glows blue for the duration of the fault

The detector has an active anti-masking function that detects attempts to cover the detector or paint the lens. The device emits infrared radiation and measures the amount of radiation received. If the detector detects a change in the level of received infrared radiation, it will report masking. The detector reports/indicates masking as long as it receives an inappropriate amount of infrared radiation.
