Magnetic detectors can be used wherever there is a need to monitor the condition of doors, windows or other moving elements, e.g. to protect or control access to specific objects, rooms, devices; in automation systems etc.
The S-4 detector is designed for surface mounting by screwing, e.g. onto a window frame or frame. S-4 consists of two parts, placed in aesthetic housings: a reed sensor (magnetic) and a magnet. Moving one part away from the other causes the sensor circuit to open, which is signaled as a violation. The detector is equipped with a tamper contact and an additional M terminal facilitating the installation of the EOL end of line resistor.

S-4 is designed to work with any alarm control panel equipped with NC type inputs, as well as in automation systems as a control element. Meets the requirements of Grade 2 specified in the EN 50131-1 and EN 50131-2-6 standards. The device is designed for surface mounting and has a tamper contact.
