Magnetic detectors can be used wherever there is a need control of the condition of doors, windows or other movable elements, e.g. for protection purposes or access control to specific facilities, rooms, devices; In automation systems, etc.

Magnetic detectors consist of two elements: a magnetic sensor (reed switch) and magnet. Reed switch placed near the magnet closes the electric circuit.
Each element of the detector has been placed in a hermetic housing.

Assembly

The detector element containing the magnet should be mounted on the movable part, while the reed switch on the fixed part of the protected door, window, etc. Elements of the B-1 BR detector are fixed to the surface with screws, with a suitable adhesive or double-sided tape.
