Satel AGD-100 BR Wireless glassbreak detector

Detector AGD-100BR allows detection of abroken glass, glazing, tempered and laminated. It's designed to workwithin two-way wireless system ABAX. It's supported by ACU-100 withfirmware 1.06 or newer and by INTEGRA 128-WRL.

Detector will alert when it records alow (strike) and high (glass being broken) frequencies.High-frequency channel is being analyzed for four seconds from themoment the low frequency wave gets received by detector. Sensitivityof a high-frequency channel is being set by radio.

LED works only in test mode:

• LEDlit up for about 1/tenth of a second during polling time;
• LEDlit up for half a second after registering low frequency sound;
• LEDlit up for two seconds after the registering high-frequency soundor after opening case tamper contact;

Installation:

Detectoris designed for indoor installation directly on the wall. Protectedglass surfaces must be within the detection range of the detector.

Keep in mind thatcurtains, drapes, furniture upholstery, soundproof tiles etc. Willabsorb and degrade the range of the detector.

1. Opencover.
2. Installthe battery and add the detector to the wireless system.
3. Closethe cover and temporary attach the detector to the futureinstallation point. Choosing the installation location one must takeinto account the range from the radio communications and distance fromthe protected glass surfaces.
4. Startremotely test mode.
5. Checkthe level of signal strength received from the detector and detectiontest. During test mode detector reports an alarm after high-frequencysounds. In order to test detector INDIGO TESTER is recommended. Ifneeded change the location of installation or change the sensitivityof high-frequency channel (programming instructions are enclosedinside ACU-100 and INTERGA and VERSA manuals).
6. After choosing a location with optimal signal strength and detection ofbroken glass, turn off the test mode.
7. Opencover.
8. Usingscrews attach the device to the mounting surface.
9. Closecover, AGD-100BR is ready for work.
