The RKD24CT-SE-8 key depositor is an electro-mechanical system for distributing and monitoring key circulation within a facility. Each monitored key is permanently attached to a key fob containing a unique radio frequency (RFID) proximity identifier. The key is attached to the fob by the system user and does not require specialized equipment or additional seals.

Each key is stored in a separate compartment with a flap. Key collection is only possible by authorized users and at selected time intervals. System users are identified via a proximity card and/or PIN.

RKD24CT-SE-8 key depositors can operate in standalone or networked mode. When operating in network mode, configuration and monitoring of key circulation is performed via the RACS 5 (Roger) access control system software, and users can use the same identifiers as in the access control system. In the standalone version, the locker can be managed via a touchscreen control panel or remotely via a web browser.
