The OPTEX AP-360B(C) is a professional passive infrared (PIR) detector designed for recessed ceiling mounting. Thanks to its unique design, it sits flush with the suspended ceiling surface, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing interior while maintaining superior detection performance.
It features a 360° volumetric detection area, enabling effective monitoring of the entire room without blind spots. It is suitable for use in both intrusion detection systems and building automation—including the activation of escalators, air conditioning, CCTV, and sound systems.
It is an ideal solution for protecting offices, corridors, living areas, and commercial facilities where traditional wall-mounted detectors might detract from the room's design.

The AP-360BR(C) offers an option to activate a battery-saving timer. The user can choose between a default setting of 120 seconds and a 5-second setting, thereby increasing the device's energy efficiency.
