It makes additional inputs and outputs available. Each additional input and/or output is as personalized as if it were an input and/or output of the control unit.

Each time an expansion card is added or removed, it may be necessary to perform the "device loading" procedure. Otherwise, the motor movement remains limited to "operator present" movement.
