Hardware communication interface between the FIBARO System and the devices infrastructure such as air conditioning, heating, ventilation, DALI lighting, roller shutters or audio-video equipment.

Thanks to this device, we can design and run intelligent and fully functional buildings, schools, hospitals, warehouses and not just apartments or apartments.
With euLINK, we have the ability to integrate infrastructure devices in buildings and we are able to optimally connect radio devices with cable, by building hybrid solutions.

euLINK can be connected to any FIBARO exchange . It is backwards compatible, works with the "oldest" control panels, thanks to which we are able to extend solutions in an already existing smart home.

Configuration and management of euLINK are possible through any browser Internet, which is a great help, because thanks to this convenience the system can install from anywhere - depending on your preferences and needs.

INTUITIVE INSTALLATION
After selecting and configuring the template for a specific infrastructure device, euLINK sends a sequence of API commands that automatically creates a device virtual in the control panel and the FIBARO application. The virtual appliance is in there ready for communication with euLINK and the appropriate device infrastructure. New building infrastructure facilities are appearing in FIBARO application (on a phone, tablet or computer) and are immediately available for building scenes.

The most important functions of euLINK gateway:
  • support for RS-485 serial transmission (up to max. 5 independent ones bus)
  • support for RS-232 serial transmission (max. 4 independent ports)
  • communication in the MODBUS RTU protocol (maximum 5 MODBUS segments, up to 32 devices in each segment, up to 160 MODBUS RTU of all devices). That for performance reasons, we recommend connecting no more than 2 MODBUS segments to 1 euLINK Lite
  • communication in the MODBUS TCP protocol up to max. 32 devices
  • cooperation with FIBARO HC2, HC Lite, HC3, HC3 Lite and Yubii controllers via FIBARO REST API
  • support up to 4 euLINK DALI ports, each capable of supporting 64 DALI luminaires. For performance reasons, we recommend that you connect no more than 2 euLINK DALI ports to 1 euLINK Lite
  • built-in TCP / IP ↔ RS-232 / RS-485 converter
  • clock synchronized with NTP to issue defined commands to slave devices
