Elmes MPS1 Eight-channel relay separator

Separator relay is designed to switch signals coming from a maximum of eight external devices, for example video cameras. It is built from electromagnetic relays that are switched on after a short circuit control inputs up to +12VDC.
Eight separator relay outputs with mode selection NO or NC operation, are connected to the terminal block with one common terminal COM. The activation of each relay is signaled lighting of the LED located next to it. The relays have diodes protecting against overvoltage, and the system is protected against damage if the supply voltage is reversed.

The module is equipped with a TAMPER housing opening anti-sabotage switch. Selecting the operating mode of the relay outputs NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) is done with jumpers. The device can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures, and the use of the module outdoors requires protection against weather conditions.

MPS1 Features
  • is intended for galvanic separation of control signals external devices such as cameras, locks, alarms, etc.
  • 8 channels, LED in each channel indicating activation
  • NO or NC mode of each relay output
  • protection of opening the housing with an anti-sabotage switch
When designing an installation using the MPS1 module, these should be taken into account maximum permissible current load of the relays is 1A/24VDC or 0.5A/125VAC and the maximum current consumption from the "+" input, assuming that each connected relay consumes approximately 20mA.
