The WaterStop Jeweller is a smart water shut-off valve. It operates as part of
an automated water leak prevention system. It can be controlled in the Ajax
app, via a button on the housing, a lever on the shut-off valve, or through
automation scenarios.
The WaterStop communicates with the hub using the encrypted radio protocol
Jeweller, and has an unobstructed communication range of up to 1100 meters.

Cuts off the water supply in 5 seconds
WaterStop is equipped with a
powerful actuator with up to 8.5 Nm of torque.
This is enough to close even a stuck valve without risk of damage.
Under normal operating conditions, WaterStop shuts off the water in 5 seconds
after a command is issued, or automatically according to a scenario when
LeaksProtect or a third-party sensor detects flooding.
In an installation with a ¾-inch pipe and 2.5 bar of mains pressure, less than
1 liter of water will leak.
In the Ajax-based water leak prevention system, each device operates on
pre-installed batteries or has a backup power supply in the event of a power
outage.
The system monitors the facility 24/7, ensuring that your property is
protected.

Protection at every level
WaterStop is suitable for controlling both
hot and cold water and is ready to operate in harsh conditions.
Thanks to additional safety features, WaterStop is resistant to overcurrent and
notifies of overheating, preventing failure of the electric actuator even in
the event of a blocked shut-off valve.

Solid and Durable Brass Installation
WaterStop is available in three
versions with different valve sizes: ½" (DN 15), ¾" (DN 20), or
1" (DN 25).
These are the most popular sizes used to meet every need, from residential to
commercial.
Furthermore, the WaterStop electric actuator is compatible with all ball valves
that meet the ISO 5211 standard.
Therefore, for specific tasks and sizes, a plumber can install a compatible
valve available on the market, and the installer can easily connect the
electric actuator to it.
Installation without construction work
The myth that flood protection
systems are difficult to install has been debunked.
Ajax has eliminated expensive, time-consuming, and messy installations for
customers and specialists.
Modern hardware and software have allowed us to implement advanced functions
with significant autonomy in a compact format.
Ajax miniature water leak sensors work well in hard-to-reach places and do not
require disassembly of the housing – they can be mounted on a horizontal
surface without the need for mounting.
The shut-off valve is installed in the existing plumbing system.
The actuator unit requires no wiring and fits into confined spaces, as it has
four possible mounting positions relative to the valve.
Stable performance for years

- No additional wiring required: WaterStop is autonomous and not
dependent on the 110 or 220 V AC mains. Thanks to its three-year battery
life and the lack of cables, the installation process requires
significantly less time and effort.
Ajax applications will notify the installer and users in advance of low
battery levels. The batteries are replaceable, so after three years, the
installer simply inserts new ones and WaterStop continues to operate as
usual.

Unique Wireless Technologies
The Ajax system uses two-way secure radio
communication based on the proprietary Jeweller protocol.
Supports block encryption and device authentication for each session with the
hub to prevent tampering, spoofing, and data theft.
Ajax wireless technology has a radio range of up to 1,100 meters in open space,
which is longer than competing solutions from other manufacturers.
Automatic power control makes it energy-efficient because it does not
continuously use the maximum power of radio transmitters in the system's
devices.
It is also more stable thanks to the use of less common radio frequencies.
To protect against radio interference and signal interception, Ajax hubs use
frequency hopping: the system automatically changes the frequency within a
given band and notifies the security agency and users of the interference.

Scalable and comprehensive
Use the ReX signal range extender in
challenging radio conditions, such as large houses with thick walls or
warehouses with multiple buildings.
ReX extends the range of all Ajax devices and manages their communication with
the hub via the Jeweller protocol.
ReX 2, on the other hand, ensures stable communication even through steel and
concrete via Ethernet, using wire as an additional communication channel.
Up to 5 signal range extenders can operate within a single Ajax system,
double-extending the network to cover underground parking lots, basements, and
metal hangars.
