AJAX Superior LineSupply Fibra is an additional power supply module for the
AJAX system, enabling the powering of Fibra devices over very long distances –
up to 2000 m on a single output line.
With the ability to connect up to 10 modules on a single line, the total
communication distance can reach up to 22 km, enabling the protection of large
facilities such as factories, farms, or power plants.
The module provides protection against short circuits and surges and enables
remote control and configuration, and its design ensures safe and convenient
installation in a dedicated Case enclosure.
Fibra Technology
Fibra is a proprietary, bidirectional wired protocol
developed by Ajax Systems that ensures fast, secure, and reliable communication
between the system control panel and wired devices.
Devices are connected via a standard four-wire cable, allowing for a stable
connection even at distances of up to 2000 meters.
Fibra combines the advantages of the wireless Jeweller protocol with the
reliability of wired data transmission. Thanks to advanced encryption and
device authentication, the system is resistant to sabotage, spoofing, and data
theft attempts.
The protocol uses the TDMA method, which optimizes communication time and
minimizes power consumption, which is especially important for battery-powered
or wired devices.
Operating Principle
An Ajax system with LineSupply power can cover a
facility requiring kilometers or even tens of kilometers of cables, whether
it's a renovation or a new project.
The device provides power to connected Fibra devices and extends line lengths
up to 2000 m. A single Fibra line can connect up to 10 LineSupply modules,
increasing the communication distance from 2 to 22 km. This opens up countless
possibilities for covering large facilities such as factories, farms, or power
plants.
Installation and Assembly
The module is mounted in a case (not
included), which provides convenient access to all connectors and protection
against mechanical damage and unauthorized access.
Connection is via standard cables, enabling quick and trouble-free connection
even over long distances.
