The AJAX Superior LineSplit Fibra is a Fibra line splitter that can be used to
split a single Fibra line into four, each extending by 2000 meters.
LineSplit inherits all the benefits of Ajax intelligent devices, enabling easy
control of the module via an app, receiving event notifications, and remote
configuration and testing. Wiring is no longer necessary when replacing an
outdated alarm system with an Ajax system.
The module can be installed at any point on the Fibra line, even behind another
LineSplit module.
Fibra Technology
Fibra is a proprietary, bidirectional wired protocol
developed by Ajax Systems that ensures fast, secure, and reliable communication
between the system control panel and wired devices.
Devices are connected using a standard four-wire cable, allowing for a stable
connection over distances of up to 2000 meters.
Fibra combines the advantages of the wireless Jeweller protocol with the
reliability of wired data transmission. Thanks to advanced encryption and
device authentication, the system is resistant to sabotage, spoofing, and data
theft attempts.
The protocol uses the TDMA method, which optimizes communication time and
minimizes power consumption, which is particularly important for
battery-powered or wired devices.
Operation Principle
LineSplit operates as a component of the Ajax alarm
system, exchanging data with the hub via the secure, wired Fibra communication
protocol.
The module splits the signal and allows for the connection of up to four
separate wired lines, allowing for flexible system design and expansion without
having to replace existing cables.
Installation and Mounting
The Superior LineSplit Fibra is designed for
indoor installation in a Case enclosure (sold separately), available in various
versions.
The housing allows for easy cable management, secure module mounting, and
anti-sabotage protection. This makes installation quick and flexible, and the
number of housings needed can be tailored to the facility's requirements,
optimizing the costs and time of alarm system installation.
