AJAX Superior LineProtect Fiber Short circuit and sabotage protection
module
AJAX Superior LineProtect Fibra protects the Ajax hub and wired devices against
sabotage. The module monitors the input and output voltage on the Fibra line.
If the device detects abnormal voltage, it activates fuses and cuts off power
to devices installed upstream of the module.

Fibra Technology
Fibra is a proprietary, bidirectional wired protocol
developed by Ajax Systems that ensures fast, secure, and reliable communication
between the system control panel and wired devices.
Devices are connected via a standard four-wire cable, allowing for a stable
connection at distances up to 2000 meters.
Fibra combines the advantages of the wireless Jeweller protocol with the
reliability of wired data transmission. Thanks to advanced encryption and
device authentication, the system is resistant to sabotage, spoofing, and data
theft attempts.
The protocol uses the TDMA method, which optimizes communication time and
minimizes power consumption, which is particularly important for
battery-powered or wired devices.
Operation Principle
Superior LineProtect Fibra protects Ajax hubs and
wired devices against sabotage when an intruder causes a short circuit, applies
110/230V AC voltage, or uses a stun gun.
The module monitors the voltage on the Fibra line and, if it detects abnormal
voltage, activates fuses and cuts off power to devices between the LineProtect
and the hub. Note: LineProtect does not protect devices located between the
module and the end of the line.
Installation and Assembly
LineProtect is installed in a Case housing.
The housing features optimally arranged cable channels, special module holders,
and an anti-tamper contact.
Several housing variants are available. The Case housing can accommodate one
LineProtect module or multiple devices. The minimum number of housings required
can be adjusted to suit the facility's needs, reducing costs and speeding
up alarm system installation.
