The AJAX Superior GlassProtect Fibra is a wired glassbreak sensor equipped with
an electret microphone and a digital DualTone algorithm to precisely detect the
sound of breaking glass, minimizing the risk of false alarms.
The device offers a detection range of up to 9 meters and wired communication
with the Ajax hub at a distance of up to 2000 meters, allowing for reliable
protection of windows, display cases, and glass doors in various facilities.
The sensor is easy to install, has three sensitivity levels to adapt to the
facility's conditions, and can be integrated with sensors from other
manufacturers, creating a comprehensive security system based on modern Fibra
technology.

Fibra Technology
Fibra is a proprietary, bidirectional wired protocol
developed by Ajax Systems that ensures fast, secure, and reliable communication
between the system control panel and wired devices.
Devices are connected via a standard four-wire cable, allowing for a stable
connection even at distances of up to 2000 meters.
Fibra combines the advantages of the wireless Jeweller protocol with the
reliability of wired data transmission. Thanks to the use of advanced
encryption and device authentication, the system is resistant to sabotage,
spoofing, and data theft attempts.
The protocol uses the Time-Division Multiple Access (TDMA) method, which
optimizes communication time and minimizes power consumption, which is
especially important for battery-powered or wired devices.
Operation Principle
The sensor detects the characteristic sounds of
breaking glass using an electret microphone and an advanced DualTone algorithm.
It analyzes audio signals in real time, eliminating false alarms. If a break is
detected, it immediately sends an alarm signal to the alarm system control
panel.

The device detects motion even in hot climates using
temperature compensation.
It filters out false alarms caused by thunder, barking dogs, or the sound of
passing trucks.
Intuitive Configuration and Installation
The sensor is ready to operate
immediately after connecting the wires to the control panel. Configuration is
quick and easy using the mobile app, which allows you to add the device with a
single click.
The device is mounted directly by screwing the sensor's rear panel to a
selected surface, such as a door or window frame. Before installation, remove
the rear panel and break out the perforated section of the housing to expose
the connection cables.
After connecting the cables, the rear panel is permanently attached using the
included screws.
