Fibra Technology

Fibra is a proprietary, bidirectional wired protocol developed by Ajax Systems that ensures fast, secure, and reliable communication between the system control panel and wired devices.
Devices are connected using a standard four-wire cable, allowing for a stable connection over distances of up to 2,000 meters.

Fibra combines the advantages of the wireless Jeweller protocol with the reliability of wired data transmission.
Thanks to the use of advanced encryption and device authentication, the system is resistant to sabotage, spoofing, and data theft attempts.

The protocol uses the TDMA method, which optimizes communication time and minimizes power consumption, which is especially important for battery-powered or wired devices.

Operation Principle

Two reed switches serving as magnetic sensors are protected against vibrations during operation. Two magnet sizes provide more mounting options.

The device also detects shocks and tilts using a built-in accelerometer, protecting the object even when windows are in ventilation mode.
The built-in magnetometer protects against attempts to spoof the magnetic field by triggering an alarm, effectively preventing tampering and masking the sensor.

Features

The device consists of two modules – a sensor and a magnet. The set includes two magnets: the large magnet is mounted up to 2 cm away, and the small magnet up to 1 cm away.

In addition, the sensor is equipped with an accelerometer that detects shocks and tilts within a range of 5° ~ 25°. The built-in magnetometer detects any attempt to spoof the magnetic field, for example, by using a fake magnet.

Magnetometer for Magnet Counterfeit Protection

The device detects attempts to mask the main magnet of the Superior DoorProtect G3 Fibra using a counterfeit magnet.
The built-in sensor compares the current magnetic field value with the value recorded during calibration and identifies differences.

If differences are detected, users and the alarm monitoring station (CMS) will receive a masking notification. The system allows users to select when the device detects magnetic masking: always or only when the sensor is armed.

The masking sensor should be calibrated immediately after installation or if the installation location is changed.

Intuitive configuration and installation

The sensor is ready to operate immediately after connecting the cables to the control panel. Configuration is quick and convenient using the mobile app, which allows you to add the device with a single click.

Installing the sensor requires the use of a dedicated mounting panel and proper wiring, ensuring a solid and durable mounting of the device.
