AJAX ReX 2 Jeweller Range Doubler (Black)
The ReX 2 Jeweller is a radio signal range extender for alarm systems with
photo alarm verification support. It is designed for indoor installation.
The device extends the radio communication range of the alarm system, allowing
Ajax devices to be installed further away from the hub.
The ReX 2 can communicate with the hub via radio (Jeweller and Wings protocols)
and via Ethernet cable if the devices are on the same network.

Range repeaters extend the boundaries of
the protected area and provide even greater flexibility in the placement of
alarm system devices.
By connecting all or some of your devices to ReX 2, you can ensure the security
and automation of a business center, large property, warehouse complex, or
large manufacturing plant. The Ajax system can accommodate five range
extenders, extending the radio network's range to 35 km².
Events and alarms are transmitted immediately, and the first verification photo
is delivered to monitoring stations and users in just 10 seconds.
Alarm Verification with Photos
ReX 2 works with MotionCam and MotionCam
Outdoor motion sensors. When triggered, they capture an animated series of
photos, helping to assess the situation at the facility.
This reduces unnecessary patrols and saves customers stress.

Privacy First
The sensor activates the camera when the alarm system is
armed and detects motion. The photos are encrypted at every stage of
transmission.
While stored on the Ajax Cloud server, no photos are processed or analyzed.
Photo alarm verifications are visible only to users with access rights to the
event channel with push notifications enabled, and to security agency staff if
the alarm system is connected to a monitoring station.
Guaranteed alarm delivery and photo verification
To ensure reliable
communication, we have equipped ReX 2 with four antennas and support for two
proprietary radio protocols: Jeweller and Wings.
Jeweller is used to transmit commands, events, and alarms, while Wings
transmits visual data packets. Two-way Ajax radio communication uses frame
synchronization in the device communication session, authentication to prevent
spoofing, and encryption to protect against data theft.

Radio communication through steel and concrete
After updating the
operating system to OS Malevich 2.13, the ReX 2 range extender will connect to
the hub not only via radio but also via Ethernet, using the cable as the sole
or additional communication channel.
A single Ajax system can cover facilities such as an office center with
underground parking, a metal sectional hangar, or a warehouse complex
consisting of several large buildings.

Extensive alarm system
ReX 2 acts as an additional intelligent control
panel: it connects devices into an autonomous group and takes control of them
at the appropriate moment.
Thanks to automatic signal strength adjustment and frame synchronization, any
number of system devices can be connected to ReX 2 without affecting
communication reliability.
If for any reason radio communication with the hub is interrupted, ReX 2 will
continue to operate via the Ethernet network. If the Ethernet connection is
lost, ReX 2 receives an alarm from the sensor and sounds a siren to draw
attention to the event and deter intruders.

ReX 2 is secured against attacks at
both the software and hardware levels. It runs on the virus-resistant OS
Malevich.
All data transmitted via the range extender is encrypted. Thanks to the
built-in backup battery, a sudden power outage at the facility won't be a
problem.
