the Ajax security system. It supports encrypted proximity cards and key fobs.

using a Pass card or Tag key fob.
Highest level of data protection
To quickly and securely identify
users, the KeyPad Plus is equipped with DESFire® technology. This is a
best-in-class proximity solution for user identification based on a card or key
fob.
DESFire® is based on the international ISO 14443 standard, providing both
128-bit encryption and copy protection. This same technology is used in
transportation systems in European capitals and in access systems at NASA.
Exceptional autonomy
The new KeyPad Plus firmware allows you to fully
utilize the capabilities of the factory-installed batteries.
Even with daily use of proximity identification, the keypad will operate for
3.5 years without requiring battery replacement.
When the card and key fob reader is turned off, the battery will last up to 4.5
years. KeyPad Plus notifies the monitoring station and users in advance when
the batteries need replacing.
Remote Access Control
Set personal access codes to know who disarmed
the system and when: the username is displayed in notifications and in the
event log.
You can also assign a Pass or Tag to a specific user and define their
permissions to control the security of specific groups or the entire facility.
The Ajax mobile app allows you to manage access permissions in real time.
You can limit, extend, or immediately block access.
Adding Users. Quick and Easy
The Ajax system supports up to 200 Tag or
Pass2 key fobs. When adding them, there's no need to create Ajax accounts
for new users; simply enter the device name and define access permissions.
This simplifies granting access to the system to temporary and migrant workers.
Access for unregistered users
KeyPad Plus supports up to 99 keypad
access codes5 for users not registered with the Ajax system.
With this feature, there's no need to create accounts for office staff,
cleaning companies, or real estate agents: simply assign an access code to the
user in the hub settings.

ensure uninterrupted interoperability between all system devices.
The radio protocol uses frame synchronization between connected devices,
authentication to prevent fraud, and encryption to protect against hacking.
