White housing is made of high quality ABS plastic.
There are two buttons on the front of the housing:

• opening the door
• functional for controlling external devices
• and a 3-stage ring volume control switch.
  

The most important uniphone features include:

• door realease or control over home automatics without established connection
• individual conversation volume control
• many handsets can be connected in the same apartment
• hold feature – handset can be put on hold without disconnecting
• control over external, devices like gates, lights or blind rollers

The uniphone has been equipped with a magnetic handset hang up mechanism there are no traditional catches.
