The EOLIS 3D WIREFREE io is a wireless wind sensor that detects the vibrations of an awning caused by the wind. Technology based on a three-dimensional acceleration sensor.
The sensor provides the necessary wind protection for a patio awning with articulated arms.
The Eolis 3D WireFree io constantly measures the vibrations that occur on the awning during wind. If the set threshold is exceeded, the awning is retracted for protection. In this state, any manually issued movement command and any automatic movement command are blocked. If the set threshold is not reached, the additionally installed solar controller is released again after 30 minutes. Manual operation is possible again after just 30 seconds.

Features:

  • Detection of awning vibrations in 3 dimensions - the price of wind gusts on the awning by measuring vertical, horizontal and lateral vibrations
  • Control of connection with the sensor - the connection with the sensor is checked every hour. If there is no connection, the awning will roll up
  • Memory function - the awning should not roll up when replacing the sensor battery
  • Safety control - without a working wind sensor, other sensors do not work on the awning (e.g. sunlight sensor)
  • Intuitive programming - just shake the awning to remember the sensor sensitivity threshold
  • Sensor behavior - the sensor analyzes previous wind messages sent to the drive before sending the next one (anti-yo-yo procedure)
