The smoke detector can be used without connection to TaHoma Premium.
If smoke particles are detected, it warns with an integrated siren with a volume of 85 dB and a flashing light. If several io smoke detectors are installed in a house or apartment, they receive one signal and warn the residents of other rooms. If the io smoke detector is connected to TaHoma Premium, it is possible to send alarm notifications by e-mail or text message. If integrated with scenarios or programmed dependencies, they are activated in the event of a fire. It is possible to open all the blinds and shutters to ensure a faster evacuation of the house and to turn on the light for better orientation.

The sensor must be mounted in the middle of the room on the ceiling and within the permissible minimum distances:
  • at least 20 cm from an obstacle (wall, beam, etc.)
  • at least 60 cm from each corner of the room
It is recommended to install one smoke sensor in the corridor, stairwell, bedroom and children's room.
