Radio drive system for awnings and screens with obstacle detection, manual
emergency control and patented integrated radio antenna. Sunea CSI io can be
used for cassette awnings, awnings with articulated arms, screens (setting the
end positions using the transmitter and/or Somfy io remote control).
In the case of cassette awnings, the upper end position is set automatically by
torque control. Regardless of the change in the material length, the awning
will always be carefully and gently rolled up. The closing process can be
optimally adapted to the type of awning. Possibility of setting any comfort
position to optimize visibility and light intensity. The comfort position can
be set quickly and easily. The drive is controlled to the comfort position
manually using the Stop/"my" button on the transmitter and/or remote
control. In the event of a power failure, the awning can be rolled up using the
manual emergency control system.
The Sunea io drive uses io-homecontrol® – a new, universal and safe wireless
communication protocol used by renowned manufacturers in the construction
technology industry. The io-homecontrol® technology enables mutual
communication between all devices ensuring comfort and safety and allows them
to be controlled using a single transmitter.

Electronic “soft close” stop detection
- After closing the cassette, the drive stops immediately to protect the

- When activated, it releases the drive switch just after closing the
cassette to loosen the fabric. This extends the life of the fabric

failure is longer than 2 min
