This is a modern drive designed for roller shutters controlled by wire with the Somfy Drive Control™ system. This drive is characterized by continuous torque control via an integrated electronic system. The advantage of the Somfy drive is the detection of obstacles during closing and the detection of ice in opening mode.

Four types of limit position adjustments: automatic, two semi-automatic and manual. For automatic limit settings, automatic corrections of their positions. For manual adjustment, the correction can be performed manually. Adjustments of the limit positions must be carried out using a special adjustment cable - Somconfigator or an adjustment device - Setting Tool WT.
