The Borglocks BL5400 ECP is a heavy-duty mechanical combination lock designed for wooden, composite and steel doors. It works well in places where lighter combination locks might not withstand intensive use.
The flat handle works in free-turning mode and is coupled to the mechanism only after the correct code is entered. The model is supplied without a latch and internal mechanism, so it can be combined with a compatible solution already installed in the door.

CODE CHANGE WITHOUT REMOVING THE LOCK
The Easicode Pro coding chamber allows the combination to be changed directly on the door, without opening the housing or removing the device. This shortens the whole process and reduces the risk of damaging lock components during configuration. The solution is especially practical in offices, service facilities, warehouses and buildings where access codes are updated regularly. A new combination can be set quickly and conveniently, without specialist tools.
When installing the BL5400 ECP on entrance doors, additional security is recommended, for example a certified Euro cylinder or a mortise lock compliant with the BS standard.
FREE-TURNING HANDLE INCREASING THE MECHANISM'S RESISTANCE
The BL5400 ECP lock is equipped with a flat handle that rotates freely until the correct code is entered. This solution limits the transmission of force to the lock's internal mechanism during accidental pressing or unauthorized attempts to open it. Only after the correct combination is entered does the handle engage with the mechanism and allow the door to be opened. The free-turning function supports the lock's durability in places with medium and heavy traffic, where the handle is often used by many users.
