The Borglocks BL5200 is a single-sided mechanical combination lock with a handle, designed for gates, wicket gates and outdoor doors made of wood, composite or steel. The model is especially suitable where standard locks of lighter construction may prove insufficient.
The Marine Grade version is prepared for work in harsh weather conditions, including places exposed to moisture, salinity and intensive use. The lock is intended for retrofitting an existing installation and can work with a previously installed latch mechanism.

- Retrofit installation: the model is not supplied with its own latch mechanism, so it can be matched to an existing solution.
- For medium and heavily used passages: the solid build works well where simpler locks may wear out faster.
WEATHER RESISTANCE AND HIGHLY CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS
The BL5200 belongs to the series of Marine Grade mechanical locks, designed for use in particularly demanding places. A specialist coating process and stainless steel critical components protect the mechanism from premature wear and corrosion.
The lock has undergone a salt spray test lasting over 1000 hours, so it can be used, among other places, in coastal areas, industrial facilities and at entrances constantly exposed to rain. The mechanical construction requires no power supply, electronics or traditional key, which makes it easier to provide reliable access control in places where electronic solutions would be impractical.
CONVENIENT OPERATION AND ABILITY TO FIT AN EXISTING GATE
The lock is equipped with a code keypad on the outside and a handle on the inside, which allows entry to be controlled while providing convenient exit from the property. The clutch construction of the handle supports the lock's operation with frequent use and helps protect the mechanism from attempts to use excessive force.
The optional free passage mode allows the code to be temporarily bypassed, which is useful, for example, during business hours or heavy traffic. The BL5200 was developed for retrofit installation, so it works well on gates and doors that already have a compatible latch or other locking mechanism.
