Proxima PDL Rangefinder Photocell

PDL is an innovative photocell designed to work in gate systems as a safety element. Unlike classic photocells, it does not require a receiver or reflectors. PDL uses a rangefinder laser to measure the distance from an obstacle, if it is smaller than the set one, it switches on the relay.

It has three operating modes:
Mode A - range 9m - the most sensitive - analysis of two events: detection of an obstacle at a distance smaller than, for example, the opposite post, + detection of covering the opposite post of the gate.
Mode B - range 6m - medium sensitivity - obstacle detection at a distance shorter than that set by the installer and optimized to detect movement perpendicular to the beam.
Mode C - range 6m - low sensitivity - obstacle detection at a distance shorter than that set by the installer and optimized to detect movement approaching the photocell.

FEATURES:

• Rotating heads – the heads can be rotated 190°, which allows the photocell to be used in and outside the gate light.
• Easy installation – requires the installation of only one element, without the need for additional receivers or reflectors.
• Optical and acoustic information – the device communicates the operating status and measurement results using optical and acoustic signals, which facilitates diagnostics and adjustment.
