Proxima Magnetoresistive Vehicle Detector MDP_P
The Magnetoresistive Vehicle Detector is a loopless detector that recognizes
disturbance of the Zeim magnetic field caused by vehicles. It replaces
traditional induction loop, but it is more sensitive and does not require a
module checklist.
It is easy to install because it does not require large interference with the
pavement which is mounted. It is enough to remove one row of paving stones or
make a narrow gap in the asphalt. It can also be mounted on a post
The device can be used in multi-parking lots and gates motorways, barriers,
maintenance-free parking systems, car washes contactless, for the analysis of
the number of occupied parking spaces, for analysis of traffic, at Drive thru
points, in warehouse halls and farms and to switch on traffic lights.
Detects vehicles in three axes - X Y Z and the detector range is a shaped field
ball with a radius of 1.5m. The measurement of the detector is very precise
thanks to possibility to set one of the 30 detection thresholds.
Additionally, we can choose which axes are to be analyzed by the detector.
The device can be easily calibrated using the configurator with a display LCD
that connects to the detector via an RJ45 connector.
MDP_P has 8 different detector output response scenarios:
- impulse from entry to exit
- impulse with time T, after time t, from vehicle entry
- impulse with time T after time t from vehicle departure
- pulse with time T when the vehicle stopped in time t
- extended pulse by time T
- delayed pulse by time T
- impulse from entry to exit, but not longer than time T
- T impulse after exit and t impulse after exit
In practice, this makes it possible to detect vehicles that stop
permanently a ignoring vehicles moving near the detector.
