Electric strike 1743R 12-24VAC/DC with switch and internal memory can be installed in left/right door frames, thanks to its small dimensions it is designed for use in narrow profiles.
The electric strike can be controlled by an access control system, video intercom, intercom or by means of a closing button.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The electric strike has been equipped with a memory mechanism. Its operation consists in providing a short impulse that releases the lock, it remains in this state until the door is opened. After opening, the lock is released when the door closes, the electric strike remains closed. This feature is useful in battery-powered situations, where low power consumption is required.

Additionally, the electric strike is equipped with a mechanical switch that can only be activated when the door is open. It releases the lock and the door can be opened without applying electric impulses for any time.
