This converter is capable of transmitting HDMI signals using the UTP wired cat.5/5e/6. The use of a given cable allows for larger ones distances:
  • on a twisted pair cat.5 to 80 m
  • on a twisted pair cat.5e to 100 m
  • on a twisted pair cat.6 to 120 m
In addition, the device is equipped with an IR extender. This way we can control the TV in another room.

This solution is especially recommended in the following situations where:
  • The receiver (TV) is far from the source of the signal eg a DVD player, a satellite receiver, a DVR.
  • We already use the existing installation
  • It is easier to place the twisted pair (it is thinner and easier to install)
