Fibaro FGD-211 500W Dimmer

The FIBARO remote-controlled dimmer is designed to control any type of lighting.

It can be used in installations with or without a neutral wire. Using the dimmer, you can turn on and dim lamps via radio waves, controllers, and a button connected directly to the dimmer.

The dimmer automatically recognizes the connected load, is protected against overload and short circuit, operates silently, and has a "soft" start function that allows for gentle brightening of the connected load (in the case of fluorescent lamps and other specific lamps, e.g., with a starter or some older transformers, only on/off switching is possible, without dimming).

As a dimmer, it works with the following loads:

• conventional incandescent
• 230V halogen
• 12V low-voltage halogen (with electronic, toroidal, and conventional EL transformers)
• dimmable LED
• using the FGB001 device, it can work with any dimmable load up to 500W

Furthermore, as a switch, it can work with:

• compact fluorescent lamps
• LED bulbs
• fluorescent lamps with electronic ballasts and most conventional ballasts
• the smallest device of its kind on the market worldwide
