ATTE ASDC-12-124-HS PoE 802.3af Adapter


The ASDC-12-124-HS adapter is designed to supply a single PoE IP camera and additional devices powered by 12V. The device can be powered with 802.3af or PoE PASSIVE switch.

The adapter lowers the voltage to 12V on the DC plug and at the same time transfers the power supply PoE to RJ45 output. When supplying the adapter with an 802.3af switch, we must remember that max power budget at the switch output is 15.4W (in total for the camera and 12V devices). While supplying the adapter with a PASSIVE switch, its max budget output power is 36W, of which 12W can be used on the DC a plug the remaining available power can be transferred to the RJ45 output.
The HS type housing gives good insulation and small dimensions of the device.
