6-port PoE 10/100 Mb / s PoE + switch in the desktop housing. TL-SL1218P is the perfect solution for expanding a home or office network. 2 gigabit ports RJ45 and 1 gigabit SFP port is a solution fully sufficient for ensure smooth transmission even when at the same time 16 IP cameras recording in HD quality are in operation.

PoE technology enables data and power transmission with a single cable. This simplifies installation by eliminating additional power cables and lowers costs.

With up to 30W per port, the switch can power more large devices power such as access points, IP cameras, IP phones, etc.
It has three modes to improve performance and device protection :

• Extend Mode - Connected devices can get PoE and data transmission from a distance of 250 m (speed on ports in extend mode drops to 10 Mb / s)
• Priority mode - gives high priority to ports 1-8 co guarantees the quality of sensitive applications
• Isolation Mode - Separates traffic on ports 1-16 to eliminate the problem wiretapping and data copying

The switch has overload protection - when total consumption power exceeds 150 W, smart consumption management function power down the lowest priority port to ensure powering ports with higher priorities.
It also enables automatic detection of the power required by a given device PoE and protects non-PoE devices from damage.

TL-SL1218P is fully compatible with PoE devices, but also works with non-PoE devices to provide gigabit connectivity to computers, printers and IP TV.
It is enclosed in a rugged metal housing that eliminates the problem overheating of the device, making it stable in operation wide temperature range (0 - 50 ℃). The housing allows the installation of the switch in Rack cabinet, thanks to the attached two handles.

A great advantage of the device is plug and play connection, no need configuration and complicated installation.
